Small Groups

To thrive spiritually we must connect relationally.
Compelled groups are a place where people have an opportunity to pursue authentic community centered on loving God, loving people, and serving the world.  All you have to do is show up, join in and be yourself.

Rooted

Rooted is a Biblically based discipleship program designed to take our body (new believers, seasoned believers and everyone in between) deeper spiritually, create opportunities for spiritual friendships and provide opportunities to serve the world. Rooted Groups typically run in the FALL semester (September-November).

Emotionally  Healthy Spirituality

In the Emotionally Healthy Spirituality Course you will explore 8 Biblical themes that will move you to be deeply changed by Jesus and have a powerful, long-term impact on the world around you. EHS typically runs in the Winter Semester,  January - March.

Support Groups

We offer 4 Support Groups: Overcomers Men, Overcomers Women, Compelled Widows, and Grief Share. Overcomers is an international network of Christ-centered 12-step support groups that ministers to individuals, their families, and loved ones who suffer from the consequences of any addictive behavior. We exist to serve as a bridge between traditional Twelve-step recovery groups and churches of all denominations. Grief Share is a ministry that ministers to anyone who has lost a loved one. We recover together as we meet to study and grow in God's Word. Our ministry is all welcoming, regardless of age, race, lifestyle, background, or belief.

Pastor Med

Adult Ministries Pastor
Pastor Med is a retired school teacher who served on Compelled’s Board for 9 years and came on staff as the Small Groups Pastor in 2018.  His heart’s desire is to see people discipled well through small groups.    Why? Because the Bible teaches that we are created for community, to know and be known first with God and then each other.  Our Vision is “To Thrive spiritually we must connect relationally.”
